because of a recent buyer who thought they knew more about shipping then we did we are forced to insert this into our listings now so we do not have future repeats. shipping for this item is what it is because its a large and heavy item the box size is not negotiable especially if you want you item to arrive in one piece (we ship it bubble wrapped with packing peanuts with a box inside a box for the best protection of this item) because of the size of the Outer box (24x16x21) unfortunately this item incurs what the shipping companies (USPS and UPS) call a balloon rate or Oversized package rate so please when you see the shipping rate do not contact us asking if we can change it WE CANT (we have no control over what they charge you please go complain to the USPS or UPS) this is the exact shipping that the USPS or UPS (which ever company you choose as your shipping method) is charging you.
